Just FYI... it's poke with an E, pernounced "poh-keh." There's no diacritical mark because that doesn't exist in the Hawaiian alphabet. Please please please don't just spell it any way you THINK is accurate.
Poke means to slice and that's why the fish is cut up into pieces. I don't know why I didn't talk story with them and mention that the spelling was incorrect. Maybe I subconsciously thought it's just an item on the menu, is it a problem worth fixing?
